Object of the Game
To predict which hand will have a point value closest to nine (9).

In Squeeze Midi Baccarat, all cards are dealt by one dealer and up to 9 players can be seated at one time.

How to Play
The game is called Squeeze Midi Baccarat because the players actually get a chance to squeeze, turn and bend the cards (if they desire) before revealing the result to all the players. This adds to the excitement of the game. In Squeeze Midi Baccarat, there are three possible outcomes to wager on, the player hand, the banker hand, or the tie. Four cards are dealt face up in front of the dealer, a banker hand and a player hand. Individual players do not receive any cards. The player hand and the banker hand are each dealt two initial cards. Based on the individual point totals of the player hand and banker hand, a third card may be dealt. See details in "Third Card Rule" section. The hand with a point value closest to nine (9) wins. To determine point value, cards in the hand are added together and the last digit is used to declare the winner (e.g. 8+8=16, total of the hand = 6).

The Cards
Face cards (Kings, Queens, Jacks) and tens count as 0, Aces count as 1, All other cards are counted at face value

Payouts

Player Hand Pays even Money (1 to 1)
Banker Hand  Pays even money less 5% commission
Tie     Pays 8 to 1

Pairs Side Bet - Optional bet that the first two cards dealt to the the Banker's hand or the first two cards dealt to the Player's hand will be a matching pair. Pays 11:1.

Player Hand
When the first two cards of the player hand or banker hand total 8 or 9 it is considered a natural and the game is over. When the first two cards of the player hand total 6 or 7, the player hand does not get a third card. When the first two cards of the player hand total 0 through 5, the player hand gets a third card.

Banker Hand
The banker hand plays under the same rules as the player hand except when both the banker hand's first two cards total 3,4,5, or 6 and when the player hand takes a third card. In that event, the following rules apply:

PLAYER   BANKER

Two Card Total Action
0,1,2,3,4,5 Draws Third Card
6,7 Stands
8,9 Declares Natural

Two Card Total Action
0,1,2 Draws Third Card
7 Stands
8,9 Declares Natural

If the Banker Hand is 3,4,5, or 6 then the decision to
Draw or Stand is determined by the Player’s Third Card.

Two Card Total Players Third Card
  Draw Stand
3 0 to 7, 9 8
4 2 to 7 0, 1, 8, 9
5 4 to 7 0, 1, 2, 3, 8, 9
6 6, 7 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 8, 9

If the PLAYER hand does not take a third card, the
BANKER will stand on 6 or more and draw on 5 or less.
