Amanda Marshall began her music career as the opening act for Jeff Healey on his national tour across Canada back in the early 90s. The tour gave her the exposure she needed and she was then offered to join Tom Cochrane on his "Life Is A Highway" tour. The hype generated by her performances on the tours resulted in Marshall receiving several offers for recording contracts. Her 1995 self-titled debut album spawned such hits as “Let It Rain,” “Fall From Grace” and "Birmingham." With multi-platinum sales and much exposure, Marshall quickly made her mark in the industry. She released her second album Tuesday's Child in 1999 and her third album Everybody’s Got a Story in 2001. Intermission: The Singles Collection was released in 2003 followed by Collections (Greatest Hits) in 2006. Marshall has received a total of eleven Juno nominations in all of the major categories including Album of the Year (for her first two albums), Single of the Year (for “Birmingham,” “Dark Horse” and “Everybody’s Got a Story”) and Artist of the Year. Amanda makes her debut at the Boulevard Casino’s Red Robinson Show Theatre and the River Rock Casino Resort on January 18 & 19, 2008. Her last public performance in BC was back in March, 2002.
