Diana Ross is a global entertainment icon … a legendary musical treasure whose music has for decades inspired romance, happiness and joy. She started out as lead singer of the world renowned singing group, The Supremes in 1961 where they released twelve #1 hits including “Where Did Our Love Go,” “Chain Reaction,” “Stop! In The Name Of Love,” “You Can’t Hurry Love” and “You Keep Me Hanging On.” In 1970, Diana decided to venture out on her own and had her first solo hit, “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” which sold a million copies. Since then she has had a string of hits including “Touch Me In The Morning,” “Theme From Mahogany (Do You Know Where You’re Going To),” “Upside Down,” “Love Hangover” and her hit duet, “Endless Love” with Lionel Richie. As an actress, she received an Oscar nomination in 1972 for her first film role as “Billie Holliday” in Lady Sings The Blues and went on to star in Mahogany in 1975 and The Wiz in 1978. Through her own company, Anaid Film Productions Inc., she has executive produced five specials for ABC, CBS, HBO and Showtime. Her role as a woman living with schizophrenia in the 1994 television movie, “Out of Darkness” earned her glowing reviews and a Golden Globe nomination. Last June, Ms. Ross was the recipient of BET’s 2007 Lifetime Achievement Award and just this past December, she was presented with the Kennedy Center Honors Award. Ms. Ross and her band are currently inspiring concert audiences throughout the U.K. and North America on her “I Love You” tour featuring songs from her new Manhattan/EMI Music Marketing studio album, I Love You which was released last year consisting of soaring orchestral arrangements to accompany the broad range and sensitivity of Ms. Ross’ vocals.
