3 Card Baccarat

Overview
Three Card Baccarat is a derivative of Baccarat and War which features head-to-head play against the dealer and an optional side bonus bet. This game is also known by its Asian name as “Three Kings”. The game is played at a blackjack style table, using one standard deck of 52 cards. After all players have placed their wagers, the dealer deals to each player position and to themselves, three cards face down.

Object of the Game
To predict which hand will have a point value closest to nine (9). While point total dictate the higher hand, there are two exceptions. A hand consisting of “Three Kings” is the highest ranking hand. A hand consisting of three face cards (Jacks, Queens or Kings in any combination) is the second highest hand.

How to Play
Players and the dealer each receive three cards. Players win if their hand has a higher point total than the dealer’s hand. Scoring is the same as in standard baccarat: Aces count as one (1), 2-9 count as their face value and 10-value cards count as zero. In the event that the total exceeds 10 points, you eliminate the 10-column. For example, if the player has 10-4-8, it counts as two points.

Note: 10’s are not face cards; only Jacks, Queens and Kings are.

A player may also take advantage of a ‘Bonus’ betting option in conjunction to their player versus dealer bet by placing a bonus bet at the beginning of the game. All player winning hands are subject to a 5% commission. Bonus bet is NOT subject to any commission. Players may play more than one hand if spaces are not in demand; however the player is not allowed to view more than one hand in any round. Any additional hands by the player will be turned over and displayed by the dealer.

Bonus Bets 
Players must make a mandatory “Basic Bet” in order to play the optional “Bonus” bet. Bonus wager is against the paytable, therefore, player may lose basic wager against the dealer, but still win the ‘Bonus’ wager.
